Sabre was the epitome of a balanced Rottweiler...able to go from the SchH protection field to playing ball with kids that he just met. An absolute JOY to live with and to work with. All who knew him, LOVED him!!
The day that he died, I prayed through my tears that God would bless me with more like Sabre.....and God so graciously did.

Mannix was a true working dog with a solid working temperament. Although Mannix loved the sport of Schutzhund an unfortunate neck injury kept him from titling on the SchH field . Mannix went on to sire our all male litter of eleven, the H Boys!

Sigi was adopted by Deerwood....she joined our crew and since her breeder had no kennel name of his own, we blessed her with DEERWOOD! Sigi became the companion to my mother and never left her side. Sigi was he dam of our all male liter of eleven...the H Boys.

Jillie was given to me by a friend who could no longer keep her. I wasn't sure how a Border Collie would fit into our pack ...but I soon found out. Jillie became my shadow, where I went, she went and behind her came the Rottweilers.... I called her my side kick but looking back she was much, much more! Although not a Rottweiler, Jillie is part of our foundation....her spirit is in this place!
